This property is ideal! Staff was warm and welcoming, the room was incredibly quiet, and the location has everything you could need: it's literally steps from the LUAS tram service and there are 2 groceries (Dunnes and a Centra) right there. Made our trip to Dublin a breeze. In-room washing machine means you can pack fewer items. American guests, don't forget to bring a washcloth!

Our second stay here, and it was as we expected The flat was clean and had everything that we needed, comfortable and very convenient for transport into Dublin City centre. Staff friendly and able to help with car parking Paid for the late checkout which is well worth out after the Saturday night out.

Better than expected

Lovely place, comfortable, with everything necessary in the room. The small kitchen even has a washer-dryer! The bed was comfortable. The whole ground floor has a coworking space, food and drinks, and it's conveniently located right at the first station of the tram, making the city super accessible.

Perfect location for all access to Dublin. Tram and buses run consistently through the day and night. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment, facilities good. Couple of things could have made it better… not enough light in the hallway and bathroom…. Fridge could do with a good clean as it smelt terrible… also 4pm is very late to check in. All in all would stay again.

Beware that at this time this facility has bedbugs! We were traveling with a large group for a family vacation and booked two suites (not cheap) the first suite had bed bugs and was clearly not cleaned. We asked for another room and found more bed bugs. My 83 yr old father said he was not staying in this place after the second suite had bed bugs. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel. In the end we were credited but it was not an experience we were looking for on holiday.

The location was great…the room was of high quality. There was some minor issue with cleanliness and electrical items but the staff sorted this out within the day. The hotel is comfortable with nice common areas for sitting. The hotel restaurant is really for breakfast and brunch…but just outside, there are restaurants around.

Brilliant for 3 Arena

To be fair, this property was chosen for its proximity to 3 Arena. It was easy to jump on a tram to get into more popular areas, or about a 30-40 minute walk. Like other Locke properties, the pillows are like rocks, but the convenience of a washer/dryer and mini kitchen are such a bonus when travelling for weeks on end. Staff were lovely.

Beckett Locke is perfectly located along the tram line, making it very easy to access the center of Dublin while providing a quiet refuge. Our only complaint is that the rooms were too small to open our clamshell carry-on luggage. Since we were in a apartment with two bedrooms, neither couple wanted to take over the common living space. Other than the limited space, the hotel is a comfortable, with very friendly staff.
