This was the second time we stayed at this hotel (this time it was our honeymoon) and we WILL be back. The staff is so friendly, nice, and helpful and someone is at the desk 24/7. The hotel is clean and well kept and it is easy to get to. Pizza Hut next door, Walmart, Dunkin, DQ and McD just down the road. And other great places to eat not too far away. Yes, we saw elk in Benezette. And a porcupine along the way. Also a short drive to Kinzua Bridge. Now I'm ready to go back to St. Marys!

Not so great this year

We stay here every year, and this year was by far the worst. We never have any issues, but this year the rooms were dirty. Our first room was slept in and someone’s stuff was still in there. Our second room has this poop.? Like stuff on the bathroom door frame, and nasty stuff in the freezer in the fridge. As a house keeper I look for cleanliness when I stay at other hotels, and this did not meet my expectations this year unfortunately. We usually love this hotel, and unfortunately didn’t take pictures of the first room because I thought someone was still occupying it.

Room was clean. We always stay at a Holiday Inn express because the king bed is so comfortable, however, this one was very firm and not very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the tub was very old and was patched on the bottom. The water for the tub was full of debris. Usually do not have any complaints but always look forward to a bath so was disappointed with this.

Stay was great. Room was clean and comfortable. The clerk was great she answered every question about the area. I had two rooms with two people per room. Price was way too high for a simple hotel room. $216 per night per room is too much. Realistically price should have been around $150 per night per room
