Room was OK, but too expensive. Better options are available.

We had a great stay at Tango Mar. The owner always greeted us each day to see how we were or how our day was. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! I took advantage of the spa and had an incredible massage. Gorgeous views of the ocean right out your window and the multiple pools to cool off in with the heat. Swimming beaches were a short drive away if you wanted to swim in the ocean.

Our room 331 smelled like mold. After checking we found that pillows were stained and smelly I guess the cleaning person only changed the pillows sheets while pillows were wet. Bed sheets were also smelly. The AC continues to freeze the room even after you turned it off. The shower had warm water sometimes not hot water ever so with the cold ac not shutting down you can imagine. The bed situation was rectified next day and we got our room cleaned. Very little personnel on bars. Take a cooler so that you don’t have to make a long line for any drinks. The best thing this place has is the reserve dining and evenings show. They have excellent dancers. This time of year there’s a lot stingrays and you can’t go swimming in the ocean.

Everything about this place was amazing. Delfina our host was the sweetest. She was so helpful answering any questions. This is my second time here and will continue to come back.

I traveled with my wife and two kids. The property is just in front of the beach and you are surrounded by jungle. The rooms are excellent, the staff is amazing and the food was delicious. It is very private and you can walk through amazing trails to nearby beaches. There is parking on site. Do consider driving a 4x4 so you can get all the way to the hotel as there is a short drive on sand before reaching the property. If not, no worries, you can leave your car in the hotel Sano Banano, and they will arrange a shuttle for you. I will definitely go back.

Very unique beach front property with quaint bungalows, beach access, very nice pool, yoga studio and adjacent spa. The food at the beach front farm to table restaurant was excellent and all of the staff were very professional, kind, helpful and attentive. Loved the included breakfast and free yoga class. Close to other restaurants and stores in Santa Teresa. Great location, beautiful beach and amazing sunsets! Pura Vida!
