We announced we're arriving at 7 am and asked for early check in several weeks ahead, yet we had to wait around until 12.30 to be given our room. Location is very good central to CBD. It was impossible to have a decent meal on site, we arrived Sunday and restaurant was closed. The next day it was closed again and we have only been told at dinner time. On one occasion when we had a lunch there it was bar food and insufficient. Comparing with many eateries around the hotel is sub standard. Also we were not given any alternatives we had to go out and find them ourselves. The best the hotel had to offer was an outstanding French concierge who when was on duty was very helpful and dully knowledgeable. On the Expedia offer it states local calls are free from hotel but this is not the case.

Hotel easy to get to. Spacious room was dated but clean. No eating facilities at hotel but walking distance to supermarket & take-aways. Microwave in room with plates & cutlery. Walk-in shower is good as I am short & shower-baths are dangerous. Hotel was quiet with parking right by door. It was value for money.

We stayed overnight in a family suite with a spa bath. The room, although quite outdated, was extremely clean and fresh. The staff member we spoke with was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this hotel to any families wishing to stay in an inexpensive spa suite.
