We had to make a last-minute reservation because we were in the middle of a long drive, and we're sure glad we did! Scandic Meyergarden was a clean, nice hotel. The staff were very pleasant, and our check-in process was very smooth.

We have been traveling in Norway for 3 weeks. If you did not know, Norway is probably the most expensive place to visit on the planet. Expect everything to cost at least twice as much as in the US. This room was clean, comfortable, and only 900 NOK which is about $130. That is a steal in Norway. Would highly recommend this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful.

The Scandic is a huge tower in the centre of Narvik. Rooms look out towards the mountains and fjord. We watched the Midnight Sun from ours, one night. Too many large groups meant pressure on the dining room, and we were unable to get a meal. There are light meals in the bar, though.
