I stayed for just one night of luxury and seafood following my camino. The hotel staff were fantastic in holding my bag which i sent via the post to pick up after the camino - I greatly appreciated this extra effort. The hotel's restaurant was delicious and great value for the daily 3-course menu. Beds and shower were lovely. Had difficulties with my access card getting into my room and kept having to ask to get it reset but staff were always available to help. Hotel is away from the centre of Santiago, about a 10 Euro taxi fare.

"Lovely Hotel in the Rias Baixas coast of Galicia"
This hotel was better than expected. The rooms are clean, comfortable and even pool view room allows you to see a bit of the sea. It is a 3 stars, but had a small safe (no fee) and the toiletries are the quality of 4 stars. This place is the real Galicia, very few tourists from outside Spain (except Portugal) and it feels like the real northern Spain. The food was very good and the breakfast excellent. Even if you don't have a car, the summer connections of the bus (Monbus, from/to Pontevedra to/from O Grove via Lanzada beach) allows you to explore the zone quite well and the bus stop is in front of the hotel.
The service at the hotel is very good and everybody works hard to please you with a big smile.
The beaches few minutes down from the hotel are very nice and deserve exploring; the water is cold though and a wetsuit is advisable if you want to swim or snorkel.
If you want sun, good Galician hospitality, this is a lovely and quiet hotel to be based at. If you want to be in a busy town, I would recommend to book hotel in Portonovo or Sanxenxo (20 mins in bus from Vermar hotel).

Nice location and facilities overall. Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast and spa access included. English proficiency and service manner of the staffs could be improved. Quality and variety of food for breakfast and dinner should be improved (very salty or very blend without nice balance between two in one dish). Spa is nice but people tend to occupy one spot for long periods of time limiting others to enjoy all possible experience Spa can offer and guests are signed up for. Room size was ok but the cleanness was questionable (lots of dusts and hairs on the ground). Maintenance of the room was also disappointing with hair and black clumps rushing out of water jet when the bathtub jet was turned on, with light bulbs of living room stand needing to replaced, and battery of remote control and wireless keyboard requiring replacement. Overall it was nicely decorated hotel with good facility but not maintained or hosted by staffs to meet 5 star rating. Without 5 star hotel expectation, it could have been less disappointing.
