Booked one night with Expedia and one night at the hotel. The receptionist gave me a hard time. I handed him the card I used to book the Expedia room to pay for the other night. The hotel declined the card. He argued I should join the reward program and I told him I got a discount from Expedia. Then the hotel declined my other card. I explained to him I've visiting from America and he said I should go back and get new cards.
Aside from the poor attitude of the one person, it is a WONDERFUL hotel. The spa is a nice perk. I enjoyed the stay very but it is awkward to feel unwelcome in both the hotel and the country because of the views of this one man. I contacted the hotel and they kind of dismissed it.
