We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful lush resort and enjoyed every moment. The western Menu on the restaurant was amazing. We really enjoyed the seafood BBQ buffet on a saturday night, very nice variety of items. The pools and the facilities were great as well.
The rooms were cleaned twice a day which we liked it very much. Only drawback is there is no much entertainment outside the resort which makes us to limit ourselves to stay inside.
the beach bar was fantastic and chilling. Definitely a place to relax.

First, great staff. People were very nice and professional. The hotel is very well located and the access to the pools and the beach is easy.
Hotel was clean and the breakfast and lunch were very good with a lot of variety.
Weekends are crowded and a little bit chaotic with the clientele for a ***** hotel.
Pool was clean, big and with a beautiful view of the ocean.
The beach is very safe for kids ( no drop). There are life guards also. The staff is working hard on making the beach clean. Unfortunately, the tide is bringing a lot of waste (plastic, bottles...)
Great family time. I would recommand this hotel (better on week days)

Accommodation here is fairly basic, but our ground floor "deluxe" room was large, clean and airy, if a little Spartan, with a big window looking directly across the (normally empty) road to the beach.
Hot water was intermittent, but the occasional tepid shower was no problem in the hot weather. Wi-if was fine, no English or other European language channels on TV. No tea or coffee making facilities were provided on arrival, but staff happily gave us an electric kettle when asked. Staff were very nice, but had very little English so communication was limited. This was true wherever we went on the island. No local map provided - we got one from a tour agent.
Quite good breakfast (charged extra) in the attached restaurant, where the very friendly staff do speak pretty good English. The main reason for staying here, apart from price, is that because it's not a resort it's much easier to make your own arrangements about where to eat, hire your motorbike or book a boat trip, and generally interact with the locals. The island is a very special and beautiful place, just about to be submerged in a rash of hideous new development, and I think it's well worth taking the rough with the smooth to get a better feeling of what local life is like.

Initially my reaction to the ATC left something to be desired. Over the course of a week there I became impressed with the hard working staff. Communicating was a bit of an issue, but with enough patience and smiles things got to the point where we didn't want to leave!
That being said, this resort seems to cater to the local tourist, English is in short supply but they try, the door jamb to the bathroom was low enough to crack my head upon, and the beds were quite uncomfortable (even by Asian standards).
The pool was nice, breakfasts were enjoyable, staff was great. I'd give this place a 3.5 out of 5, but if they keep moving in the right direction could become a 4.
