Very pricey. Rooms are large. Coffee , refrigerator, and microwave in room. Front desk did not do a good job keeping up with coffee and supples for the guests. Bed was a little hard for my taste. Bathroom shower was squirting water on ceiling. Bathroom sink did not drain well. Paid for location, about 12 miles from Denali entrance.

The front desk clerk was very helpful and made me feel genuinely welcome. It is cose enough to Denali National Park to be there in just a few minutes. For the price it is a good hotel to stay for a day. I don’t know if I would want to stay longer just because it was very hot in our room and we could hear the people upstairs very well.

Highly recommend comfort, clean and location

Check in was easy, it’s an older lodge, but the rooms are updated, large, and big window. Comfy beds. Coffee, fridge and microwave in the room. Grab extra k cups from the front desk if needed. There is a central living room that has several games/puzzles. We spent time there meeting other visitors. Location was exactly where it said, so easy to find. Healy was a good base, approx 11 miles from Denali Park. The Alaskan Bean Coffee shop is about a mile away, had breakfast there for great service and good food for a reasonable price (cheaper than Denali park prices). Great location to Diamond tours group (about 2 miles). I would recommend this lodge as a great location with comfortable and clean rooms. Hot water was great.

All was pretty good. Except check in. They did not say that there were any additional discounts. Then we saw a small sign that said ask about discounts. But becausr they had already run my credit card ty could not give me the discount for senior. She did see my drivers license prior to running my credit card so she could have told me about it. Also why couldnt she issue me a credit. This would have saved me an additional $45.00. Very disappointing.

Good option near Denali

Great value for the money and the room was huge. Comfy beds and a perfect location for visiting Denali National Park. Just a short drive away and some restaurants and facilities near by. The free breakfast bowl was a bit odd but there was coffee and oatmeal in the lobby.

Very good stay! Efficiently run with easy check in, pleasant breakfast seating inside and out. They provided a breakfast bowl in your room fridge. Very close to The entrance to Denali. Nearby brewery, Thai food truck and a few other restaurants.

If you are looking for a place to stay near Denali National Park, I recommend Aurora Denali Lodge. We stayed there two nights and all our needs were met. A lady with long blonde hair checked us in, and she couldn’t have been nicer. A hot breakfast is not served, but they do give you a cold breakfast, hot coffee, and hot chocolate. This lodge is not a 5-star hotel, so keep that in mind. It is a clean, comfortable 2-star lodge which is also convenient to the park.

Amazing people who made us feel welcome during our stay. The front desk was very receptive and answered any question or concerns with a smile. The breakfast was available in mini fridge and believe me that was time saver if you plan on doing any activities in Denali. Overall highly recommend.
