I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel offers the perfect combination of elegance, comfort, and convenience, making my time in Chicago even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and some of the city’s most beautiful attractions. The atmosphere throughout the property is sophisticated yet inviting, and the accommodations provided a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the city. What truly makes a hotel experience memorable is the hospitality, and I genuinely appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. As someone who values exceptional guest service, those little touches make all the difference. Overall, The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown is a beautiful property that delivers a luxurious experience without sacrificing warmth or comfort. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago and would happily choose to stay here again. Five stars, well deserved!

The suit was perfect for our trip, very clean and equipped with most everything we needed. Great shampoo and conditioner, no body wash but we brought our own anyways. The only issue we had was the front entry door wouldn't let anyone in the building at one point. It was handled quickly by the property manager, they were quick to answer the calls and responded promptly. We had no issues with our suit room entry. Great location near the French Quarter; it smelled like garbage outside the building the entire stay but that's not their fault. Overall I'd stay again.

Beautiful property, incredibly awesome friendly staff. Ms Elaine was amazing. the only thing I would have liked is a refrigerator in the room and stronger water pressure lol. Location is close to everything.

Did not like that it wasn't clear it was a "timeshare" type resort. We sat thru a presentation that was a waste of our time & the sales rep. Our room had many issues that required maintenance. We were told someone would come to our room to address the problems, which never happened. Larger gaps in the floor tile grout lines that were obvious. The bedroom lighting was insufficient. The bathroom mirror lighting insufficient. The fan came on with the mirror light instead of the shower. The shower head was leaking like a sieve and could not be adjusted. The bathtub/shower floor was slippery (had to put a towel down for traction) The step out of the bathtub/shower was too deep. There needed to be a ceiling fan in the living room/kitchen area for circulation. The placement of the HVAC right near the sofa made hearing the TV very difficult. The thermostat was too high on the wall for me to see. The room as a whole did not give a good presentation of the hotel accommodations. The staff were all very friendly & helpful.

Excellent location. Enjoyed my stay.

Centrally located. A few steps away from the Caesars Superdome and the Smoothie King Center. The staff was very friendly. There a couple of restaurants and bars on property. The supermarket and restaurants are located just a short walk away from the front of the hotel.
