"Mixed Feelings"
The hotel is very nice. It's best to get reservation via Expedia or some other method than at the hotel itself. I was price gouged. I thought I had made reservation for March 17 and learned when I got there I had made a mistake. Expedia worked with the hotel to cancel my reservation without charging me cancellation fee. But they got their money any way by charging virtually an extra $100 each night. My wife is in ICU at the hospital. I Air Ambulance her from St Kitts to a hospital near Fort Lauderdale, FL. I was already a mess and just needed a place to rest. So, I paid almost $500 for two nights where as the going rate was about $120 using Expedia. That's why I gave the staff a lower rating. After getting some rest, I did book additional nights with Expedia at the going rate. I don't think all of staff would have charged me that rate. Also, the heating in the room does not appear to go higher than 71 degrees. I need my heat.

"Perfect location to minimize family stress"
I had to cancel and rebook at the last minute due to flight delays. The hotel was very understanding and there was no financial penalty. There was a police incident that drew a crowd two blocks away while we were there and the area seemed like it could be dangerous at times if walking alone.

"Great Location"
Check in was very quick. Employees are very friendly. The property grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are some what outdated but who spends time in the room when on vacation. Beds are comfy, beach was clean and beautiful. $20.00 charge for cabana, $5.00 for a beach chair, and $10.00 for an umbrella. Food and drinks can be ordered on the beach and poolside which was very nice. We only ate at the restaurant once but food was very good. Now for the was great. Once you come over the bridge, the hotel is only a couple of blocks away. Directly across the street from the hotel is a convenience store, pizzeria with a bar and sit down restaurant, and a beach store, along with a couple of other places. This was great because there is not much as far as stores go when you leave the area.

Hotel is great, nice pool area, was clean and landscape was lush, in a great area, close to I95 , The breakfast was awesome, and plenty to choose. The rooms were fine, but could use some fresh paint, but in all, had a awesome time, and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Family visit"
Since I was in Florida to primarily visit with family, I was not actually at the hotel for very long periods of time. I was only at the hotel long enough to sleep, bathe, and change clothes. I did not have time to enjoy the amenities, but the pool, pool area, and the fitness room did look very clean. The breakfast was on par with other breakfasts that I have had at other hotels. It did not totally blow me away, but it didn't stink either. They really do need to change their coffee brand or coffee supplier. I may be a bit of a coffee snob, but the breakfast, lobby and room coffee was weak. There is really not much within walking distance of this hotel except for the corner gas station and the "big box" hardware store next door. There is currently construction going on between the front of the hotel and Hillsboro, and across 12th Street behind the gas station, so that may change soon. As far as driving, since you are right on the Broward/Palm Beach County line, you are within a 1/2 hour drive of EVERYTHING from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach. If you have a lot of places to go, this hotel is very centrally located with easy access to I-95. The hotel staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful. My room was spotless every day, even changed the sheets every day. I was impressed enough to tip the maid daily. My only big complaint, other than the coffee, was the condition of my mattress. I knew as soon as I sat down on it that it had been there a while. It was a marshmallow.

"Cute Motel, But Pool Closes at Dark"
Although more of a motel than a hotel, Royal Beach Palace was clean and comfortable (not a typical motel stay). The front desk staff was friendly, and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job on the room. There was construction on the street during our entire stay, but we didn't hear anything, and it didn't prevent us from crossing to road to CVS and Ocean's Grille. There are three small pools, and we didn't have a problem getting one to ourselves at any time during the day. The only thing that would have made our stay better would be if guests had been allowed to swim after dark. We were told by the front desk that the pools close at 9 p.m., which is unfortunate when it rains all day and the nicest weather is after dark. The pools even light up after the sun goes down (which I'm sure if also a safety feature). While it's not in the middle of everything, Royal Beach Hotel was only a short Uber ride away from Las Olas and other Fort Lauderdale attractions.

Deerfield Beach is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Deerfield Beach, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Deerfield Beach hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
