Had such an amazing time at the beautiful peaceful location just 5-10min walk from Maui bay beach. Property: I came as a little solo retreat to take a break from NZ winters. The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the fact I could get away from bright lights at night and the blackout blinds. The wifi was perfect for calls/work, and never had a glitch. The property was quiet and beautifully landscaped with abundant fruit trees and veggie gardens, and I was even treated to fresh papaya and banana's and offered garden veggies! I loved going down for swims at sunrise/sunset and was often the only person at the pier. The beach is swimmable all day, although at low tide it's recommended to swim off the end of the pier. The local's are incredibly friendly, most speak English and as a solo female travelled I never once felt at all unsafe. HOSTS! This was the absolutely best part of the stay. Dee and Ken and their family were incredibly welcoming, helpful and made me feel at home the minute I arrived. Anything I needed Ken helped organise and was always only a text away. Nacho (the dog) was a fantastic tour guide and would accompany me to the beach guarding me all day until I was ready to walk home. Thank you so much. Cant wait to return!

Nice place to stay, with close by restaurants and stores. Easy access to transportation. Staff was helpful as well.

Nice and friendly staff. Room is clean. Just runs out hot water when we arrived at 7pm. Breakfast need to be improved, only scrambled egg on toast for 3 days. Not single piece of fruit as advertised. Overall, still a great price and location. Recommended on budget accommodation.

We checked out early after our first night because we found live bedbugs in the bed after sleeping several hours in it. We captured two bugs from the bed and showed them to the front desk (live), and we also have photos/videos of the bugs and the more than 100 visible bite marks and large swollen welts I had afterward. My wife was in a similar condition. The front desk would not provide written documentation of our report and only told us to contact the property. We messaged the property through hotels.com requesting a refund, but they never responded.

Beautiful property, Friendly staff and Owner. Met and made very good friends here as well as enjoyed the ocean activities and day trips greatly. Returning here in a month or so to repeat!

The hotel is very beautiful. Amenities are great but the resort staffs are not very friendly, they are very biased, they allow some guests to check out at 11am while they ask others to be out by 10. They do not accommodate guests request. Overall its a great place to be around with family and relax
