"Comfortable Resort close to the sea"
Tambua Sands is a resort that gets you to the heart of Fiji. It is not modern or plush, but very comfortable. The staff were lovely, very friendly and approachable. This resort is a great place to get to know the other guests as it is small and has an intimate feel. We had booked a Garden Bure but were upgraded to an Ocean view, and what a view, directly out off our own patio - it was like having our own private beach and we rarely saw others on it. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, the bathroom could have been abit cleaner. The evening meals were very good and varied, breakfast was a choice of cereals, fruit and breads. We enjoyed the activities offered, particularly the Kava ceremony, visiting the local village for church on Sunday and walking to the top of the local hill to enjoy the view. Downside was kayak and snorkeling activities could only be done at high tide, early am and late pm the week we were there. Take one of the regular buses that pass to Nadi, Sigatoka or Suva - very cheap and comfortable. Would also recommend the Navua River Jewel of Fiji Day tour, booked through the hotel tour desk.

"Fabulous Fiji Holiday"
Just arrived home after a wonderful holiday at Crusoes Retreat. The staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly. You are greeted with a huge smile and a cheerful Bula. Having the Fijian village next door is a wonderful way to see the real Fiji. Happy smiling people who welcome you in to see village life. Very family friendly we took our 2 daughters and they had an amazing time. A great way to escape the stresses of every day life, plenty to do without leaving the retreat. Snorkeling in the lagoon, kayaking or swimming in the pool. We would love to return again some time soon. Would highly recommend for those who would like a restful holiday.

"Wonderful staff needing the support of the owner/s"
We particularly enjoyed our time here because of the staff who were very friendly, made every effort to cater to their guests and were welcoming. We felt they were let down by the owners who had neglected maintenance and guest comfort and needed to pay more attention to detail. E.g. it is not possible to read in the rooms after dark as there is insufficient lighting and none at all by the bed. They offered a mini bar in the rooms we had to ask for glasses and there was no bottle opener provided. We booked for 12 nights and at no time during that time did the person that was pointed out to us as the owner come and introduce themselves, welcome us or address concerns that we had expressed to the staff. We chose a small resort expecting a more personal approach than in the large ones. This didn't happen. The setting is lovely and quiet with a reasonable range of facilities. Our activities were mainly off site so we didn't use most of the facilities. However they looked in good condition.

Korolevu is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Korolevu, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Korolevu hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
