Great place to stay. Friendly people.

Good, well priced modern hotel. Comfortable beds, quiet. Free parking in basement car park. Used twice as 1 night stop-over.

Unfortunately there was no

Stayed for one night in the family room with my two children. The room was spacious, even with a double bed and two singles. The en suite was spotless. There were plenty of spare toilet rolls, as well as shower gel and handsoap. The room also had tea and coffee making facilities, a bottle of drinking water, and a lovely touch of a little selection of fudge sweets. There was a safe and hairdryer in the wardrobe. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. It was lovely and quiet throughout the night. No disturbances at all. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice: cereal, fruit yoghurt, homemade brown bread, porridge, local honey, as well as the cooked options of bacon, sausage, egg (any way you like), tomato, mushroom, beans and toast. The fresh coffee was delicious. The staff were excellent. On hand if you needed anything, but also left you to your own devices, which I appreciated. All in all, I would say hotel standard and I will definitely stay again.

The room was clean, the staff was super helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The bar had a great atmosphere.

What great value and a great place.the room was spotless and was in the perfect location for my easy journey to the ferry port after a long day travelling. All the staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The food in the restaurant was top class and the breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. Couldn't fault it.The guy running the bar was friendly, funny and working his socks off.Would happily recommend.

Nice quiet area. Had a view of the bay and that was pleasant. Restaurant attached which was nice.

Check in was easy. We were early and they held our luggage until we could check in Room was clean and manageable. Great walk in closet. Bathroom was updated but unfortunately the shower was too hot to use. We didn’t report it first day figuring we were doing something incorrectly. But when it wasn’t any better, we reported it but had a tour to catch. We returned to a brand new functional shower. Well done Staff were friendly but there’s not much beyond a bartender. No food service and hours of attendance for help aren’t listed. We wanted a wine bucket but the bar didn’t have any. They gave us plenty of ice though in a pitcher. We normally don’t use cleaning staff for short stays…so no comment on that We would stay there again Location to town is ideal and the walk uphill is great exercise
