Very clean, small room, small bathroom. Bed comfy, could have done with extra pillow. Bathroom was small, toilet too close to the bath and sink, sink was too big for the room. Bistro next door served burgers, pizza, good service, good value for money.

I'm not a first time visitor and usually stop here on the last night of a trip to Europe before getting the channel tunnel the next day. This is a very convenient location with supermarket, restaurants, and a cheap petrol station nearby.

Not good room service

It was clean and staff friendly, but we stayed 3 night's. We had only 2 tea bags for the whole stay,2 coffee tubes, when asked for more, they never turned up. Only 1 towel was changed even though they were all on the floor after the first night of showers. They did empty the bin, and we had a toilet roll. We bought our own t bags from the shop. Very let down, really for cost.

Lovely overnight stop

Very friendly and helpful owner. He accepted putting some of my food in his fridge overnight, then refunded me 1€ with £1 after realising I had paid the city tax twice. I would not have noticed and it was a tiny sum. So his honesty and integrity were very appreciated.

Room 18

Awful stay as there was a buzzing noise all through the night and no staff available to report it. In the morning discovered the noise was coming from an electrical panel in the hall which was open for anyone to cause havoc if they wished. Knowing it was coming from the circuit breaker box I told the staff to call someone out, it was probably a simple circuit breaker replacement job. Turns out all the staff have known about the problem and have done nothing about it. Asked for a refund or reduction but got nothing. On top of this the room stunk, a kind of wet sweaty smell We definitely won't be staying here again

OK stay

We have stayed at this hotel several times, it being very convenient for the Tunnel. Unfortunately, this time on our arrival we were greeted by numerous dogs, with their owners. Not everyone appreciates dogs and we found that on this stay it was very noticeable just how many were at the hotel.

Stayed 1night on a 24hr DFDS break. Room comfortable, but not particularly big. Adequate for a short stay. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but sufficient. Nice restaurant next door for evening meal. Close to A16 and Cite de Europe shopping mall. Only issue was a small bathroom in which the shower leaked onto the floor: and irritation rather than a complaint. Would certainly consider staying again.
