The noise in the room from both the room next to me as as well as as the room above me was extremely loud. The smell in the hallways smelled awful Seems like there was people that lived at the hotel full-time and did not care about guest that we’re staying there

What a special place! We extended our stay for an additional night because we were enjoying ourselves. Our room by the tennis courts was clean and comfortable. The view of the water from the property was beautiful. Convenient restaurant and bar on site. The access to Dollar Lake made for a sweet morning walk. The staff were very friendly and obviously working so hard to make sure everyone was having the best stay! We look forward to another stay at Chanticleer in the future!

Good clean property and an excellent breakfast.

Clean rooms and Janelle provided us with information about the B&B very helpful and made us a wonderful homemade breakfast. We would stay there definitely

This hotel never disappoints. It is always exceptionally clean and the breakfast is fantastic. Homemade breakfast burritos are a hit with the entire family!

The night manager was such a sweetheart! We didn't arrive until after midnight and he was still so welcoming, check in was quick and easy. We had our dog with us and paid the pet fee, which was way more affordable than most others in the area, and he gave me no issues or complaints there either. There was a strange clattering noise in our room (not the AC, we heard it turning on and off separately) but we were able to sleep through it because we were so exhausted. Bathroom was a little cramped but very clean. Breakfast was fine: nothing bad but nothing amazing either, just fine. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked clean and orderly.

It's a beautiful property in a great location, but they need to do some renovations to get the property back up to its former glory. With that being said, we had a nice visit and would go back again.
