the room wasnt bad . Kinda cramped for a king size bed.No vending machines worked. Also the lobby was really shabby. It looked like a hotel in downtown Baghdad.

Fantastic stay

No breakfast...no room service

The staff was incredibly friendly and I observed them cleaning the lobby. Breakfast was sparse- cereal and honey buns. The room.... the beds were clean, had nice mattresses, and there was a wide selection of TV stations. Our bathroom had a whirlpool to my surprise. However the whirlpool had pink mildrew on the jets and the stainless steel on the jets did not appear clean. Even the shower walls had water stains on them as though the overall shower/tub had not been properly cleaned in a while. I had my cleaning supplies from work in my car and was going to clean the whirlpool myself so I could use it but decided not to because im on vacation and shouldn't have to clean my own hotel room. The bathroom mirror had a large streak on it like it had not been clean or not cleaned properly. Only 1 small trash can in the entire hotel room. For what we paid the room was fine, but if the cleaning staff did a more thorough job I would have gladly gave this place a higher rating. Also the room/hotel smelled so badly of stale cigarette smoke we had to leave the windows open a good majority of the stay as the odor was so strong it gave me a headache.
