Great stay

Great stay overnight while on the road. Clean, comfortable, roomy. Easy and friendly check in/out. This is halfway point for us and we will look to stay here again!

First stay there. One night it was apparent the walls are paper thin. Employee couldn’t hear from outside the room and when I invited him in to listen, the people shut their tv off at 11:45 pm. Pool was empty and I was looking forward to my grandkids getting to swim. Breakfast was good, better than usual, but the eggs were awful. The toilet ran constantly and had to reach in the bowl or shut the door. The last night a maid must have said something finally because it quit. The maids kept taking my soap, shampoo, and conditioner every day, even though I stayed three nights.

Stay here you will not be disappointed

We were on a long road trip and stopped here late at night for a quick sleep in the shower and we were blown away by the size of the rooms, how new and fresh they were and the beds were absolutely delightful. I would personally seek this particular hotel out if I was passing through the area again. The comfort and value for the money was excellent. Stay here you will not be disappointed.

LaQuinta Hotels always hit and miss. Lately as more and more franchises are run by recent East Indian immigrants, corners are cut. I have pictures but I don't see a way to include them. This is not an old hotel, but there was no water in the pool. We reserved a suite. There was an OLD worn out, large leatherette lounge furniture of unknown style with the cover peeling off in many places. Disgusting. No one would sit in it. The TV line-up and welcome papers left on the TV counsel looked like they had been blowing around in the parking lot for a few days. Crazy. The shower faucet was broken, was partially hanging. With some effort it would turn on, but you could not take a bath because the drain plug had been removed. Wall and door repairs had been made, but the white spackle had not been painted over, or in some cases painted a different color. There was a small bar in the breakfast area with draft handles, but it was abandoned, pushed up against a wall, with dust and cleaning rags left on top. They allow dogs, which is nice, but the one stand for poop bags was old and empty. I always come prepare but I forgot a bag in our room. I had to go to the front desk and was given a bag. but obviously most people did not bother. The surrounding grounds had a large amount of dog waste. The apparent owners like to have family gatherings in the lobby and have loud conversations in their language. East Indians are a very important part of our nation. But not like this.

Wonderful Hotel

The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was great. The breakfast was very good. The pool was out of order and being worked on but we hadn’t planned on swimming anyway!

Arrived later than expected heading home from spring break. Family was tired, had teo rooms, one of the rooms the keys wouldnt work. Had to go to front desk three times. They ended up changing room. Which wasnt what was booked, onlynhad one bed, but kids were over tired and sick of waiting in hallway. Overall cleanliness was sunpar, trash bins iverflowinf when gotnthere and when leaving. Breakfast was very cheap and fake tasting food. When going up after breakfast keys didnt work to either room. When checking out,they asked how was the stay? I said not good, the front desk chuckled and thought i was joking. Then when i told him of the issues, he just said he'd look into the system, and never said sorry or anything.

We made a reservation not knowing the hotel was flooded. There was no access to the property because of flood water. When we called to see how to get there the night clerk told us we couldn’t. He would refund the but we had to go thru Expedia. Expedia said they needed the OK from the hotel. They then said LaQuinta said no. Someone is lying. We want a refund since we went told of the flooding. LaQuinta should have closed reservation for the Columbus IN hotel.

Hairs all over top sheet both beds-appears new bedding was not placed on beds. Terrible pillows, but beds ok otherwise. Staff friendly and helpful. Location was fine other than when flooding occurs from heavy rain. We realize the hotel has no control over the weather, but as a warning we almost were not able to get out of the lot and cars parked on low side were in flood water. No real warning about the possibility you could get trapped in the parking lot when water levels are up, so not sure if the employees have experienced this before. Breakfast was ok, coffee was better than most hotels. Breakfast area gets crowded quick with little room to move around others. Hotel was pretty quiet.
