Fantastic Stay!

We came to Chişinău and didn’t really know what to expect. What a fantastic city! We stayed at the Edem Hotel as it was fairly centrally located, not too far from the zoo and also within walking distance to main roads and a number of shopping centres. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and the colleagues at the hotel were so friendly. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here and we will definitely stay here again!

It’s a nice, cozy, friendly and clean place with a very good location to have access in the hurt of town. I really enjoyed my trip staying with them! The supermarket, the restaurants and everything you need near to the accommodation.

No breakfast and no massage….

Breakfast is NOT included even if I paid for it via Hotels website. There is NO massage or resturant possibilities even if thats said when booking. There where mo cleaning if my room during the 3 nights I stayed there. The staff was friendly though but I feel ripped of because of paying EUR 12 for breakfast for me and my guest, = 48 EUR extra in total. I jope Hotels will refund me for that.

Very good value

The staff were amazing 10/10 the first two nights were super quiet you wouldn't believe your in a city. Unfortunately there was no hot water for 3 nights I did raise it but it wasn't fixed, I sat by the pool but it wasn't that enjoyable as kids were shouting and throwing a ball into the furniture. also there are no blinds or curtains so you wake up when the sun's out

Firstable I want to say terriblw receptionist at the desk. Second think I booked hotel with free buffet breakfast but they even not selling water. Hotel is empty and like this hotels shouldn't work. It was minus three outside and room was cold but receptionist says goverment not givin gas they cannot warm room. Even she doesn't want to give the remote for air con. Can you imagine? Tollilet was dirty, tissues on the floor, not toiletries just a tawels. Outside ice not putting any salt someone copping outaide and opening way to go out. Just the unbeilivible. I am showing itinerary to the receptionist for breakfast she even not listening. She was very rude and unbeilivible not respectful with the customers. I was shocked what is going on. There is only good think Old man helped a lot. He brought remote air con to warm up and etc. This people not understanding what is the customer service what they should provide in the hotel. They Just adverting what is they haven't and playing with the customers.

My issue was more with Expedia than the property. They assured me it was okay to pay with credit card. Repeatedly. When I arrived it was cash only. When I arrived they had no knowledge of my reservation and said they don’t work with Expedia any more and don’t know why they’re still listed. So I didn’t receive the room I booked; I’m lucky they let me stay at all. The listing said breakfast was included. The property said it was not, but they still gave it to us because of the old listing. My only real issue with the place was that we had to use a bathroom in a hall with a virtually see through door. And there was another guest room in the same hall. But overall, a great visit and kind staff.

Sehr gute Lage, schöner Pool, alles sauber und in Ordnung. Man konnte Getränke im Hotel kaufen oder seine eigenen mit an den Pool bringen. Ruhig und familiär. Die Betten hatten jedoch schon bessere Tage gesehen, daher leider etwas Punktabzug. Bei der Bezahlung der Zimmer wünscht man Bargeld in Euro oder Dollar, Frühstück ist nicht inklusive. Alles in allem dennoch ein angemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ein schönes, ruhiges Hotel mitten in der Stadt.

Eenvoudig hotel met mooi zwembad

Hotel met prachtig zwembad. Fijn in de hete zomermaanden. Ligging is redelijk goed. In donker lasting te vinden. De ingang is niet erg goed aangegeven. Het hotel ligt in een buurtje met donkere en rommelige straten. Iets buiten het centrum van de stad. De kamer was zeer eenvoudig ingericht. Wel netjes. Maar dan weer geen prullenbak? Ook ongezellige verlichting. Slecht 1 lamp. Geen nachtkastje. Badkamer en douche op de gang waren goed en schoon. Geen mogelijkheid voor ontbijt.

Kvinnan som var chef var inte trevlig. Stämningen bland personalen dålig när hon var där. Räddningen var trevliga Violet, Serviceminded samt Igor. kan inte rekommendera detta hotell tyvärr. Frukostbuffé var bokad och betald men ingen frukost, inte ens en flaska vatten kunde chefen servera.

Carry on Drilling!!

Although I booked this great looking hotel in January, when I arrived I was informed that my room was not available and I was offered a room in the basement. This room was like a cellar and not suitable. I was found another hotel room in a hotel with no swimming pool on a busy road and asked to pay extra as it was a central location. I refused to pay extra. I paid the agreed rate and was shown a room that I accepted as It had been about 90 minutes since I had first attempted to check in. The room was in a hotel that was having building work done on it and drilling commenced on the exterior wall to my room as soon as I checked in. Unable to communicate that well with the hotel staff, complaints returned blanked faces and shrugs of shoulders. Breakfast was not served and service to the room or any attempt to communicate with me was zero. Extremely poor service, extremely poor facilities, very poor food, very poor standard for hotels.com
