The breakfast was pretty good and was included in our room rate, but the scrambled eggs were powdered eggs (they were terrible) and if you want fresh cracked eggs you paid 8-12 euros. We stayed in the presidential suite. It was very nice and large room and had a nice view of the Duomo. The outdoor balcony was very large too. Unfortunately, the lobby chairs and sofas need to be updated. They smelled bad and had stains on them. Otherwise, you are about a 10 minute walk from the galleria shopping area. Nice hotel and once they update the lobby furniture, it will be much better.

Location, amenities, very helpful staff

Really super clean linens and really helpful staff. The room was quite dated, though clean. Location, across for Lausanne Gare and next to Metro is very good

Very nice hotel. Our only complaints were the people slamming their doors throughout the night. It was loud! Also, hotel is advertised as having air conditioning. There is a thermostat on on the wall however it did not cool the room when we placed it on this setting. We came back about one hour later and it was the same. My husband called the front desk and was informed there is no A/C. If we wanted cooler temperatures we were instructed to open our window. It was a bit too warm for us and very humid in the morning.

Rooms have no a/c so in summer it’s really hot. They could use a bathroom update with showers and remove the tubs. The views are outstanding. And the room size was also nice.
