A wonderful stay all round, location amazing, very comfortable bed, really good shower and good breakfast. Above all both Vasilis and Alexandra were wonderful hosts, checked local buses for me, booked my trip, nothing was to much, lots of advice about the best ways to get to places - definitely recommend it. A fabulous quaint hotel, Vasilis is both accommodating and friendly, and a top man with authentic Greek recommendations for restaurants and excursions etc . It is also extremely central, a one minute walk from the old harbour area. I can't recommend it enough. Brian .. Ireland ..

Hotel is beautiful, has a lot of old character, but with good plumbing/amenities, exceptionally clean, and in about the best location in the heart of the old town. Staff were friendly, reserved but very helpful when asked. Chania is a world apart, relaxing and well with a visit.

Great overall with super a/c

The location is excellent. The breakfast was simple but good. I enjoyed the rustic clean and cool room: very grateful to have A/C that can be adjusted! The roof deck is an gem!! And Vasilis is helpful and friendly. Perfect for the solo female traveler

Excellent stay

Very beautiful romantic room with sea view, view at the old venetian port. Large comfortable room, bathroom and bed. Owner (young Vasilis) present and involved in day to day run of this little hotel. Breakfast was simple, but very clean and pleasant. Our room was in a corner of the hotel so the wifi was so-so. A bit noisy some nights (it may be just this room, not all) due to its location right on the main alley of the port. But overall, an excellent impression. The staff was also excellent, nice and very responsive.

Its a perfect hotel to experience the old town of Chania! Make sure you book a room with a view of the harbor its worth the extra money! A family owned hotel that takes care of their guests like everyone should be! Dreamy bed also! 🙌

This was the perfect spot in the whole harbour. It allowed us to experience the hustle and bustle of the city without it being noisy and disruptive to our stay. The bed was comfortable it had ample room compared to other European hotels we stayed in. The cleaning staff were super on it and reset the room daily. The morning breakfast was exceptional, I lived for the fresh yogurt, strawberries with homemade fig jam and fresh squeezed OJ to order. Vasilis was super helpful during our stay, easy to talk to, always available and gave us great recommendations. highly, highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay

A last minute booking in the old town... made to feel very welcome. The views from our room were fabulous. Breakfast was wonderful and our host Vasilis extremely friendly and well informed. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had a nice size room with access to a shared patio with a view of the harbor, sea, and light house though a door onto the patio. The patio had chairs and small tables as well as lounge chairs - perfect for relaxation. a nice simple breakfast was included and the management was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful Experience!

Great hotel right in the heart of Old City. So kind and helpful. Beautiful breakfast and beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Many restaurants, bars, and shops close by.

Owner very welcoming and the hotel very well situated, overlooking the Old Venetian Harbour. Rooms and bathrooms are very small with no balcony. The communal terrace, accessed via a spiral steel stair, extends outside the room windows which was no problem for us but could be a nuisance if other guests used it at night. Overall we were happy with our choice of hotel.

Very happy with our stay

Captain Vasilis is a great choice in Chania. Their location is excellent, with great views of the harbor and located in the prettiest part of the old town. The owner was very helpful with trip and restaurant recommendations. The room was very comfortable and we really appreciated the good shower. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great room with a view of the harbor #6.We had a balcony that we shared with another room,but we never saw anyone else. The bath was small,but nice. The owners and those working there were friendly and very accommodating. We loved the breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious! Perfect place to stay if you don't want to drive around which is pretty dicey and parking is difficult. I highly recommend!

Great location. Proximity to many restaurants, shops and 2 min walk to old harbor. Vasilis is very accommodating and flexible. His staff is polite and helpful. The hotel itself is very traditional and rustic. Beautiful interior and terrace view.
