Beautiful beach hotel. Close to shops and resteraunts. The room was amazing with a great view. Very comfortable. Staff were lovely and attentive. The food at the hotel was AMAZING! The pool area was so relaxing and the pool itself was beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel. The spa was unbelievable. Had a deep tissue massage that was the best I ever had. 1st class hotel.

The place was secluded excellent for a relaxing stay, the staff could not do enough for you very clean including the surrounding areas where the villas were situated . Came with its own beach. The food was full of variety and excellent quality

Excellent hotel and staff in general but let down by lack of vegetarian options for evening buffet and attitude of staff serving/ clearing which was overly attendant and not conducive to a relaxed evening meal. Table clearing over zealously more akin to a breakfast scenario.

An unseasonally hot week (even for the Algarve) in June but the hotel was great. Our patio suite had private balcony with loungers and sun all day - room 95.
The hotel has various activities scheduled such as Pilates, Walks and Stretching Classes - they're all free.
I booked bike hire (55 Euros) for 3 days through the hotel and this enabled me to visit and view the surrounding hills and mountains. Don't do this if you can't cycle up steep hills!

Super relaxing resort on the coast. We had a huge apartment (C1F) with a pool and ocean view from the largest deck in that building. Great restaurant walking distance from the resort right in the water. Perfect for two couples traveling together with two bathrooms. Pools were freezing and the "jacuzzi" was luke warm and would have liked poolside drink service but other than that it was a wonderful stay! About a mile and half walk into the main town but taxis were easy to get.

We stayed in May for one week. The hotel is beside the beautiful beach, the (many) pools were well kept and it was very easy to obtain a sunbed with umbrella without having to be up at dawn with towels at the ready! Staff were very helpful and spoke very good English (among many other languages). We has a 1 bedroom apartment- no sea views with the apartments, but beautifully clean, air con, balcony view of pool, kitchen well equipped including toaster, blender, microwave, fridge/freezer and all crockery. Daily maid service which was wonderful ! Very comfy bed as well. 2 supermarkets nearby, and a free shuttle bus from the hotel into Albufeira. Can't comment on entertainment or kids clubs as didn't use them. Lots of good live music in Albufeira, taxi back around 8 euros.

Great location/pool area and close to lovely beach.
Impression we gained however was that time share is now the owners priority. Eye off the ball re hotel guests we felt.
Not 5 stars standard.. Small complaints 1 only one clothes hanger 2 bath plug faulty 3 Toiletries not replaced without asking 4 bath robes too small 5 Towels not always replaced when left in bath 6 We have visited twice before and beach chairs etc. always free to hotel guests until this year without warning costs 12 euros per day. 7 Room only cleaned one day pre 17.00

At the head of a long verdant valley the popular, pretty little resort of Carvoeiro opens onto a small golden cove. Steep cliffs dotted with traditional houses rise to either side while the surrounding area has been heavily developed with low-rise apartments. Fishing boats ferry holidaymakers to less busy picture-perfect coves at Benagil, Carvalho and Marinha. Adjacent, the curious eroded rock formations of Algar Seco are worth exploring.
