Cairo Vacation Packages

Pleasingly eclectic, as evidenced by the photos. Cowboy/Old West motif in the cabin was fun. Lots of antiques remind me of the good old days. Meet new people (guests) and great conversation with Kathy and Scott.

Had a great stay would stay again

It smelled like roaches. The whole place. Although i only saw 1 dead one you could let they place was invested at some point. They didn't even try to have air freshener in the room or anything.

This was our first visit at Staybridge and we were pleasantly pleased with the staff, inside and outside of the hotel. Breakfast food was excellent and variety of items. Dog friendly and owners very respectful of other guest.

The hotel was clean and seemed to be well maintained. The facility was an older property with furniture that reflected its age. We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping cleaned our room on the second day. Our suite was like an efficiency apartment with a small but useful kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast each day was of better quality than I expected. It offered a nice variety of good foods. However, there was a problem with our bill when we checked out. They overcharged us almost $500.00. The manager was cordial in discussing the situation with me, but it took them twelve calendar days to correct their mistake and refund the money to us. The problem arose from us changing our plans and wanting to stay one more night. The agreement for the additional day was handled verbally with the person at the front desk relaying messages between the manager, who was in another room, and me. I should have asked to speak directly with the manager. Also, it might have helped to get the changes in writing. I would stay at this hotel again, but I would examine the final bill very carefully before checking out.

I stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed by the condition of the room. The chair had what appeared to be mold and visible stains, the bathtub and surrounding grout looked dirty, the shower curtain was stained, and the bed covering was dirty, with marks and holes. The complimentary breakfast was poor and disappointing. It consisted of packaged mini doughnuts, Raisin Bran, Frosted Flakes, milk, coffee, orange juice, and tea. After staying at three inns, I have learned to travel with my own sheets, towels, and Clorox wipes. I should not have to do that. Every paying guest deserves a clean, properly maintained room. Basic cleanliness should be a standard at every hotel. I hope the hotel improves its cleaning standards and Expedia updates its listing photos to accurately reflect the property’s condition.

Pet friendly, but still under renovation
