The room was so spacious and clean! We had a beautiful view of the harbor. The staff and service were amazing. The location of this hotel was ideal as well. I’m so happy we were able to stay here and we will definitely be back with more friends and family.

The hotel feels like a 4 star hotel and definitely not worth 2 keys of Michelin. Very poor service; the staff doesn’t know English. The design is very cheap as is all the furniture in the room. The bathtub is small, the douch keeps dripping. It feels like a motel ambiance! Breakfast is ok but you have to wait in line in the morning and since they don’t know your name they call you by room number. Check-In took 20 minutes, I don’t understand why and I had to fill out a firm with stupid questions like birthday (after she took a photocopy of my passport). Definitely not a 2 keys Michelin hotel!!!

Our room on 19th floor was fabulous, with superb views of Haeundae beach, incredibly comfortable bed, huge bathroom and a lovely terrace (rare in S Korean hotels). There was a great guest lounge on 8, open all day for complimentary tea/coffee/soft drinks and serving free champagne and nibbles from 6-8pm. The restaurants in the hotel were very good, if a little pricey. Our only slight grumble and the reason I didn’t rate the Signiel as “excellent” was that check in and check out were both slow and poorly organised, and the concierge service wasn’t very good. Otherwise staff were very courteous and speak English, not always the case in S Korea.

We had a bumpy start as one of our room had electrical issues but the staff quickly managed to change room and offered us a great service. Swimming pool was amazing. Staff when we checked out was also very helpful in the end. We are frequent travellers with many five star hotel experiences and we will definitely be revisiting this hotel and are planning to visit Signiel Seoul next time as well.
