Cute stay in Bruges

Great location, 15 min walk from the train and 10 min to all the sights. Check in/out was seemless for an auto check in/out.

Great location for anyone wanting to stay in Bruges and be surrounded by great restaurants and historical places. My only complaint would be thr room, not great lighting in the room and the bathroom shower doesn't have a full curtain or glass door so water goes everywhere. There is a parking garage right next to the hotel if you're driving a vehicle but the area is extremely walkable.

A fantastic stay!

Yet another wonderful stay here and fantastic to see the hotel has had a an entire make over. It looks fabulous now. Staff are always friendly and the room very comfortable. This has been our go-to hotel for the past three years and many more to come. See you next year! Much love.

Having been a loyal and enthusiastic customer of IBIS hotels for over 20yrs, I was surprised and so very disappointed to find this experience on 5-Sep-2025. Not enough lighting, toilet broken (not surprisingly) its position was so cramped it was ridiculous, the door spring was strong enough to cause injury and no hairdryer ! whoever signed this room off, needs find alternative employment, as this attacks your hard earned Brand.

Almost nothing fit for purpose, from tap screen sign in that wouldn't register, to toilet seat that I had to keep fitting back on its hinges, to sink you can,t put your face over because of the huge tap, to idiotic shower with no door so that water gets sprayed over and around toilet no matter how careful you are.

Bed bugs / biting insects

Me and my wife have stayed for two nights and we have severe bites all over us. I woke up several times in the middle of the night itching and uncomfortable, and had to take a shower at 4:30am due to my distress. Since checking out we have discovering numerous bites all over our bodies. I have felt more than 50 bites on my body, and they are extremely itchy and uncomfortable; my wife is similar. Following checkout to see if anyone had a similar experience we looked at some reviews. One other review we found revealed someone had the same experience as us. The hotel said that the room they stayed in was treated for such pests and deemed safe - this was clearly not the case, and the hotel confirmed they would be trying alternative methods to remove them. I am in contact with the hotel to see what compensation they can offer. They currently stated that they have closed the room to get specialists to inspect the room.

Ibis Brugges

Overall it was a fine stay, clean and safe hotel. Upon arrival, it took us a few minutes to realize we had to check in across the alley at a different hotel. Additionally, upon entering the room to rest for a few moments, there was very loud construction in the rooms below us. The hotel was slightly out of city center, it still remained walkable but we had to plan for the extra 10 minutes each way to our destination.

As a budget conscious couple, we found this hotel ideally located, 15 mins walk from the train station and close to the main tourist area of Bruges. Our room had the basics and was very clean, housekeeping did a wonderful job each day. Not very soundproof, but for the price and location, we were happy with what Ibis offered.
