Literally the only positive is location. I am not a snob when it comes to hotels. As long as I have a place to sleep, fresh sheets, and fresh towels, I am happy. I have never stayed at a hotel with such little to offer guests in terms of service. We stayed three nights…not once was our room cleaned, our sheets were not changed or even beds made, fresh towels were only available upon request. After day one when our room was not serviced, I asked the front desk if they could send someone up and was looked at like I had two heads to request something as crazy as fresh sheets/towels and our garbage can emptied. At least they dropped off towels on our doorstep eventually. Would not recommend.

The bathroom ceiling paint was cracked and peeling. The refrigerator worked very well and clean. Only one elevator was in service during my stay. I feel the Expedia reservation needs to do a better effort in clarifying which Hawthorn Extended Stay hotel is being reserved. There is an older property in Saint Clairsville, Ohio and a newer property in Triadelphia, WV. Saint Clairsville Ohio is 18 miles from the newer West Virginia hotel. Please be clear on future reservations. This location error seems to happen often

Little outdated, but a great room for the price if you don’t need many amenities.

Area was good. Close to shopping and restaurants. Parking was easy. I was disappointed the room did not have a fridge or microwave. They moved us to a room that had a fridge but no microwave. Icemachie on our floor was out of order so had to go to another floor to get ice.

Solid accommodations at a reasonable price. Family friendly.
