"Great home base for day trips!"
We stayed 4 nights and did a lot of hiking around the Bruce Peninsula... it was nice to have a clean and comfortable motel to come home to each night. The owners were very pleasant, and went out of their way to provide information about the area, and make recommendations for restaurants. We would definitely return!

"The view is wonderful"
This is a lovely mum-and-pop-type motel/resort with a large 'backyard' leading down to the private beach on the bay. (With a pool, etc.) I had an older room (214) but it was completely clean, comfortable, and had a private deck. The staff were very friendly. I have no complaints, and my suggestions for improvement are minor: quieter bathroom fan, and heavier blankets in the winter. (I wasn't cold, but I didn't want to leave the heat cranked up through the night.)

"I have some "reservations""
When I arrived, I was told they had forgotten to turn on the heat (The outside temperature was 6C). They did supply me with a space heater to hurry the heating and it was comfortable within about 20 minutes. I stayed for two days and expected that the room would be serviced for the second day but it was clear that no-one had been in - bed not made, towels not changed, no toilet paper. It was not possible to charge meals in the restaurant to the room. Hook on back of bathroom door was missing. The bed was comfortable and the facilities generally good.

"Sauble River Marina"
Located right on the river. Looked out window at water. Had small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric fireplace, tv, wifi and we had a king size bed. The curtains were see thru. At night you either changed in the small bathroom or in the dark because if the light was on people could see in. We went in fall, by choice so very little to do in sauble beach. Quiet, peaceful. They are a marina and have boat, canoe etc rentals. Imagine it is busy place in summer. Not so peaceful then. I have NEVER paid to stay anywhere where I had to clean my own room...strip the bed, fold blankets, wipe down bathroom, clean fridge and any appliances we used and vacuum before we left or there would have been an extra $100.00 fee. Was not impressed with that aspect.

"Great basic accommodation. Excellent value for th"
We stayed in Cottage #3. The cottage was clean and comfortable. There are no frills but at the price we did not expect any. The view is amazing and the staff very accommodating and friendly. The mattresses are firm and comfortable, everything was very clean. There is so much to do that really the cottage was only a place to sleep but we did make a few meals there, the fridge and stove were great to have. If you are staying here, bring things like tea towels and coffee filters. There are basic pots and utensils but not really enough to do much cooking with. There are so many great places to eat in town that we only cooked to save money and when we got tired of eating out. We loved being able to make our own breakfasts as the breakfast included was not enough to fill us up after all the fresh air and activity. The stars are really wonderful and it was great to be able to have a fire in our own fire pit at night. It is important to respect the privacy of the neighbours as there are no fences and the waterfront does not belong to the hotel. If you are planning to stay indoors very much this is not the place for you but there is no reason to stay indoors in such a beautiful place! The people are friendly, the surroundings amazing and the whole holiday was wonderful.

"Nice cottage thats walking distance to the harbour"
Very clean back half of a cottage with a nice new deck. Fire pit in back yard that is shared with the other renters. Only complaint is no air conditioning. Owner is very friendly and informative with what to do in the area.

Bruce Peninsula is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bruce Peninsula, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bruce Peninsula hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
