My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The only issue was that the air conditioning was not working very well. Aside from that, my stay was pleasant. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. I'd like to recognize the assistant manager, Amanda. She was extremely helpful and informative and clearly knows her job well. Her professionalism and excellent customer service made a positive impression and enhanced my overall experience. While I would have appreciated more amenities, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again. Thank you to Amanda and the staff for making my visit a positive one.

I was driving from the State of Washington to the Great State of Alabama, 2500 miles. I only needed a room to get a few hours of rest/ sleep before continuing the next leg of my trip. I know I am an old man but, I just can't get over how much hotels want just for a clean safe place to sleep for 6 hours. I chose Super 8 almost solely based on price (however, I did read reviews and I feel they were overly generous). I knew not to expect much but I was still disappointed. One of the two staff at the counter when I checked in was obviously suffering from drug addiction (Nashing teeth, constantly scratching, couldn't stand still, had no focus....). Both staff members blamed a slow computer system for a delayed check-in but I have my doubts. The parking lot was very busy late into the evening (It did not feel like the traffic was all related to guests ???). So, didn't have the greatest confidence my vehicle was safe. Then, there was the noise and activity inside the building late into the night. People up and down the halls, loud neighboring rooms. (Not that the hotel can do much about unruly guests ... except I guess price out those types of people...). Complimentary breakfast ... Don't waste your time! Everything had a funny taste, it could have just been me but, I can usually choke down something.... Nope! I guess one upside was, it rained a little and I didn't get wet.
