The room door wouldn't open sometimes, so I got locked in a few times, and the location isn't ideal. There is a homless park right next door.

The Place was amazing

A beautifully maintained and historic hotel. Stepping through doors recall another quieter time. The rooms a spotless and the staff is very kind and helpful. The saxophone player in the library lounge was delightful

Great place, I was excited to stay here.

This remains my go-to lodging in Tucson. Very convenient if you’re just passing through, but a short drive to the university. They seem to be remodeling rooms, and the rooms with tile flooring are much cleaner than those with wood laminate flooring.

Everything was great for my stay.

Nice view at pool, quiet and relaxing

I had booked this property for the 4th of July weekend. Called Casino del Sol directly to find out when I needed to pay for my stay and how much the total was going to be including incidentals, I was told I wouldn’t be charged until I checked in. The reason I needed to know this was because I was on vacation in San Diego and wanted to know how much I needed to save to have enough to pay at check-in in Tucson. Come to find out, Estrella charged my account 48 hours before, I was told by management that was the policy to confirm my booking since it was a very popular weekend and payment was the way to confirm. My booking was cancelled since payment did not go through. I wasn’t the only one that had this problem, a lady in front of me had the same thing happen to her.
