"Nice hotel, a 10 minute bus ride to Princes Street"
We wanted to stay outside of the city centre to avoid too much noise from the Edinburgh Festival activities and this hotel enabled us to do this. If we return to Edinburgh we will consider staying closer to the city centre as there is little to do in the vicinity of this hotel apart from visiting a Morrison's supermarket across the road.

"Excellent Option"
My family enjoyed Old Town Chambers due to its proximity to Old Town Edinburgh and the amenities offered in the apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were wonderful. The kitchen was well-supplied. I would recommend the Old Town Chambers for families. One thing to keep in mind for those with babies: the room we stayed in was near a restaurant/bar, so, there was noise/music long into the night.

"Nice clean hotel in beautiful surroundings .."
Staff is very polite, professional and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and nice. Facilities are good and it felt like perfect stay. Only thing that I was surprised about was time it took to prepare dinner, we had to wait for 1.5hrs for simple food. Not sure if it was one off kitchen disaster.

"Outward appearance nice but needs "
Lunch receptionists friendly and helpful, late night were ghosts, no recognition on return just talked to themselves. Bed lovely. Shower temperamental as wouldn't adjust to warm only really hot or just cold. The inside of the cistern full of black mould so reckon it's time for an upgrade to that room. Sign says call room service for fresh milk for the kettle but nowhere does it say with compliments of the hotel, the room service menu mentions a £5 tray charge so who knows and as always with these teas and coffees there are always only 4 milk jiggers so not enough for more than a cup each unless you like your coffee with a drip of milk. Big room. Chose the hotel as it had windows that open and they do. So fed up with big tower blocks that don't have opening windows, is it just me?!

"Good hotel in great location "
Hotel is ideally situated on a steepish hill overlooking the city. As the old grammar school, it's got lots of character whilst still providing modern facilities - it's been a sympathetic modernisation. The staff here were BRILLIANT - from check in with Vix to all restaurant staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful and seemed to genuinely want you to enjoy your stay with them. Whilst the room was slightly dated, it was spotlessly clean with good free WiFi, flatscreen TV, comfy bed, great, views over the city and as we were in a deluxe room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine in our room on arrival. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and throughly enjoyed it. The hotel had an offer of 3 courses for £25. The menu was not extensive, but there was a good choice which would cater for all tastes. Our food was excellent, well prepared and presented and showed that some thought had been given to it - not your run of the mill food you get in large chains. Again, the staff were excellent, friendly, efficient and attentive without being obtrusive. After dinner, we had a drink in the atmospheric bar which looks like the old headmasters office - decent choice of drinks, but not a massive range of whisky. The buffet breakfast was good with enough choice to suit all tastes from traditional hot items, cereals, breads, pastries, fresh fruits and meats. All in all, we throughly enjoyed our short stay here and look forward to visiting again.

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location "
I stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was lovely, the staff and management done everything I asked for as the trip was for a special birthday and they provided prosecco and brought flowers to the room, the rooms are nicely decorated with little extras like tea and coffee, the beds are very comfortable to sleep in. The food at the restaurant was excellent and delicious would recommend a visit even for a small lunch and the added bonus of getting to use the health spa was brilliant and a nice bonus, all in all I would recommend a stay hear

Bo'ness is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bo'ness, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bo'ness hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
