Home away from Home

Always a wonderful stay at Grant Street Inn. Reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable of local attractions and eateries. We often go to Bloomington to the Comedy Attic and stay at the Grant Street Inn. Such a comfortable home away from home

Great place to stay

Visited Bloomington to enjoy the college town vibe and see a show at the Bluebird. Have been staying at Grant Street Inn since back when daughter was an IU student. Love the home-like feeling, great breakfast and excellent location.

Have stayed a few times but honestly a little disappointed this time around. Breakfast and breakfast staff was lovely as always but the reception staff just not friendly. Our room was in the accessible building across the street. Had issues with the room - mildew on the shower curtain and a coffee pot that didn’t function. Location is great to walk anywhere on campus or main strip.

This was our second time staying here. It is such a great location. It has a great continental breakfast. They also have cookies and coffee in the afternoon. Everything about it makes you feel at home.

Dirty linens, not clean

I stayed at the grant street inn for only one night. I was surprised based on the reviews how not great it was. My bed linens were gross and had stains on multiple places on the pillows and sheets. They also had 3 conditioners in the bathroom but not a single shower gel. They told me o had to come downstairs to get one. Shower didn’t seem that clean. The people who worked there were really nice however and the breakfast in the morning was good. To me, if a place is not clean, I won’t ever stay there again. Also, it’s really loud on that street. People were yelling outside until 3 in the morning and you can hear everything even from the second floor.

We love Grant Street Inn, but some of the rooms need updating. Springy, older mattresses, the shower needed cleaning from rust and mildew, and any stained furniture (desk chair in our room)
