We loved this hotel. There are 2 hot tubs outside which were very enjoyable on a cold day. The room is simple but clean. Breakfast is served in the cabin next to the hotel and it was very good. There aren’t many restaurants around the area so make a reservation at Mika- that may have been the best meal we had in Iceland. They make their own chocolate so get the best chocolate cake you’ve ever had.

Nice property. Very clean and an excellent breakfast. The common spaces were nice, two hot tubs (we did not use them though). Convenient location, would definitely stay there again! Our room was very hot but there was a fan and it was hotter than typical.

We had a lovely stay; enjoyed the hot tub, breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. Loved the local restaurant and a free appetizer from our hotel for my husband’s birthday!

A Hidden Gem

While the place appears remote, it is well located to visit some of the best sites in the Golden Circle. The place was clean and comfortable, and served a nice breakfast each morning. Furthermore, there is a restaurant right across the street called Mika that had fantastic food.

Great place to stay

Excellent spot, arrived after 22.00 and used self check in, worked really well. The room was great, warm, clean and well equipped. Beds were really comfortable. Didn’t get chance to use the hot tubs sadly, but looked lovely. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend

It’s a very nice hotel, gives a warm and cozy vibe. I really appreciated the self check in and out, very easy and convenient. I liked the location as well but very many dinner options around (absolutely not their fault in any way though). I would definitely recommend this place!
