"Clean hotel in heart of Bijagua "
The hotel is in middle of Bijagua, right off the main highway 6 and close to Tenorio National Park. Our GPS misdirected us so in the daytime, we could see the hotel is only 1 block off the highway. We arrived late, but the manager was kindly waiting for us. He directed us to an excellent local eatery for typical local cuisine and the next morning went out of his way to give us local tips on Tenorio and alternative trips in case Tenorio was closed. (Arenal is ~2.5 hours away, Miravelles 1.5 hours, and a local waterfall "Cortez" is ~1 hour away). The room is not fancy but very clean and comfortable for our purposes. (We stayed 1 night.) We brought our own supplies for breakfast and could use their kitchen facilities in the AM. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

"Easy access"
the place was under repair, so it may improve under near future but was making some dirt everywhere. the owner speak only spanish. Like many place the hot water is kind of missing. location is great and super easy to get there by bus. if you plan to go rio celeste by bus, this can be a good stop, you will still need a long taxi ride (no other choice).

"So clean!"
A really nice place operated by a passionnate belgian host. Everything is very clean and welcoming. We even had some great time in the hot tub, doing some bird watching in the garden. We are a family of 4, there were a double bed and two one size bed for our two adolescents. Enough place for all of us!

"Little Farm Bungalows"
This was my favorite place in Costa Rica. The B&B is owned by a husband & wife which were so helpful & kind to us. They generosity made out stay here complete. Every morning they served us homemade breakfast from their farm with fresh eggs, homemade bread, milk from the cows, fresh fruit, and yummy pancakes. We sat in the dining area watching all the birds that would come by to eat the bananas off the trees. We saw toucans every morning! We also saw a sloth on their property. They have built a small pathway so you can take a tour around the property. This was so peaceful wandering around the property looking at all the wildlife and beautiful scenery of the trees. Although this is a small town, I could have stayed there longer. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and I loved the interesting murals around the property. I have already recommended this place to so many of my friends and am counting down when I can return.

Bijagua is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bijagua, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bijagua hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
