"Deep in the Medina"
The hotel was excellent. ABSOLUTELY take their offer to have someone pick you up at the airport and bring you to the Riad- otherwise you would never find it in the maze of the medina. The staff were unbelievably accommodating and made all sorts of arrangements for our comfort. I would HIGHLY recommend this Riad!

"Lovely old guesthouse in the heart of the medina"
Welcoming and very helpful staff. Characterful building. Wi-fi only works downstairs but they are trying to sort it. Lots of steep stairs to some rooms. Tasty breakfasts and delicious evening meal. Roof terrace with good views of the medina. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

"Elegant riad"
Surprisingly affordble and extremely luxurious riad in the heart of the medina. Rooms are all very different and beautifully appointed. I stayed in 'Raja' which was spacious and had a blue/green theme. For the same pruce my friend stayed in 'Ataryin' whicn was also lovely but split level with bathroom downstairs. The food was amazing. Beautiful buffet breakfast and traditional Morrocan on the a la carte for lunch and dinner. Food on the expensive side for Morocco but well worth it. The riad also arranged an airport pickup and a guide for our first day. Definitely do both. Guide was 400 dirham for half day and very knowledgeable. He was interested in the history and current way of life inside the medina, with excellent English. Standard guide practice is to take you to shops where he will get a commission. Just say upfront if you are not interested in carpets etc. He had the local characters along the way show us what they did and let us take photos e.g. stoke the hammam fires or sharpen handmade knives, then flipped them a coin afterwards. Easy way to experience the medina without the hassle and also nice to support the locals. Guide will expect tip afterwards.

"Hospitality is second to none. "
The hospitality in Morocco is second to none and Riad Mazar was no exception. We were welcomed with Moroccan Mint Tea and felt at home ever since. The interior décor is spectacular and a peaceful haven from the chaos of the Medina. There are six rooms on 3 upper floors surrounding the courtyard. Each day we returned to a warm welcome at the door and a spotless room. Make sure to arrange for dinner at the Riad at least one of the nights during your stay. It was so good we had it twice during our 4 night stay. It was affordable and the quality and variety of food was incredible. Save room for the main course because they served the two of us enough appetizers, "Moroccan Salads" to serve as meals for four people!

"Nice hotel."
The desk was friendly and helpful. One morning about 9:00, we were still in bed and a probable cleaning person tried to get into the room without any announcement. The chain on the door stopped the person. The desk said that the person would be spoken to. Otherwise the stays were pleasant.

"Great hotel in the centre of Fes"
Highly recommended. Stunning building at the heart of the old markets in Fes. A little bit difficult to find initially and we ended up asking for directions. The hotel is within easy walking distance of most sights in Fes. Very quiet, clean room with great bathroom and air con. There was also a fridge and a safe in the room, very handy. We stayed in a suite so lots of space. Great continental breakfast. Owners could be more helpful. Highly recommended. Great value for money.

Bhalil is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bhalil, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bhalil hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
