Room was comfortable and clean but it was in need of renovation. Stains all Over carpet in room. Marked up walls and door in need of fresh paint

Very disappointing stay. The hotel is extremely outdated and in desperate need of renovations. The rooms felt old, the furniture was worn, and the overall property did not match the expectations set online. It wasn’t as clean or well-maintained as I had hoped. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Very friendly staff; great pool and poolside services. The room was very clean but had kinks such as a glass shower door that was misaligned and would slam and one side of the closet door didn’t open.

Ophelia's was a fantastic place! A comfortable and unique B & B that we found was mere blocks from the place & purpose of our visit to Independence. The room was very nicely decorated and had the usual TV, free internet & coffee as well as refrigerated beverages ($$) and fine liquors ($$). One big plus is that you can also purchase the Turkish cotton bathrobes that are provided to the guests (my wife liked them). There is elevator service to the rooms, which set directly above the restaurant. The restaurant itself is what I call fine dining. Our food was well prepared and excellent with a friendly and attentive staff. There was even some quiet instrumental music provided by a single guitarist on Saturday evening! There are plenty of shops to visit as you walk around the Square after supper. All-in-all, a great find, a pleasant stay and certainly a place to go back to!

The room was clean and well laid out and furnished. I appreciated the water filter in the bathroom. Breakfast was great and the dining area was well kept. The only issue is that the pool was closed the second night as they were waiting on someone to come fix something. This was the main reason for booking this hotel as it is a very hot time of the year. At least my kid got to swim and use the water slide on the first night. I would stay here again, just really hope that the pool is open the whole time.
