It was not disclosed to me upon checking the construction/remodel and floor cleaning that the hotel was doing (which created noise and disturbances for the stay). Mid stay I was woken by hotel staff and told i’d have to change rooms immediately because they need to do floors (with no remorse, offer of upgrade or apology). I had been completely unpacked because I was staying several days. So I pack up everything, don’t even shower and decide i don’t want to unpack and repack everything for one last night, I was already annoyed.
No only did the property not Expedia give two cares about my comfort and stay, both refused to refund just my very last day. Expedia wouldn’t refund their fee to the property for the last day so the property wouldn’t refund me last day. The hotel staff were mostly rude (even before this problem, upon checking the bot hardly spoke to me and was watching TV with some girl). The expedia agent tried to lie to me about his conversation with the staff (but I was standing right next to her so ai heard the entire thing. Expedia has gone way down hill and no longer supports or protects its customers-and we have so many options, please go use something else. The property is ok but next to freeway-so sound is bad even if they didn’t have remodel going on. Won’t be using wingate or wyndham anymore either.
