Be careful when booking. This hotel is in the process of being all fully renovated, so there are fully, half and non renovated rooms. I was first given a "champêtre" room, which is in the non-renovated section. I was extremely disappointed and disgusted with the room: flickering neon light at the entrance, the kitchen must date back to the 70-80s., fridge all full of dripping water, old furniture and tv. I asked to be transferred to a fully renovated room and was given a room in the "Nordik" section for 10$. What a difference! The renovated rooms are stunning, modern, comfortable with a beautiful kitchen, bathrobes, big flat screen tv. Definitely worth the 10$ and the 4stars that the hotel advertises!
The pool and jacuzzi are not yet renovated either, but the jacuzzi are outside and made of stone so it is still a pleasant relaxing area. Would recommend this hotel, but ONLY the NORDIK section!

Was in Quebec for an escape weekend, close to the old town and all the cultural activities. All kinds of restaurant and we specially licked the revolving restaurant/Bar of the hotel. Went for a night cap with a 360 view of Quebec. was a little disappointed by having to park two blocks from the hotel , everything else was great.

Check-in was an extremely smooth and pleasant experience. Both the front desk staff and the doormen we helpful and courteous. Hotel is definitely as advertised as a boutique hotel. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The free breakfast each morning was very nice. Not at all "canned' as I have come to expect for free hotel breakfast. The hotel is right among the shops and restaurants in the lower city and a short walk(although quite uphill) to the old city. I would recommend staying here anytime.

The staff were all very helpful, professional, and friendly. When we had a problem with the room being too hot a gentleman came and helped immediately. They stored our luggage before and after check in and even transported our luggage to the ship for us. The hot breakfast which we ordered from a menu was delicious. The only negative was that the dining area is quite small. We did not have to wait for a table but many people did have to wait a while to be seated. Great place and we would stay there again if ever back in Quebec City.
