"Overall, Good Place "
This hotel was right on the beach, the staff was friendly and right across the road were various restaurants to eat at like the Yacht Club, Pizza Galley, Boat House and many others. The hotel had a beautiful pool and nice views of the water. You could take a shuttle to the other Diamond Resort and swim in their pool, use the beach chairs and snorkel. We really enjoyed the snorkeling in the area that was off to the right near the hotel next to it. We saw squid, tang, a fish with a long pointy nose. Lots of different ones and the water was calm there so kids could snorkel as well. Another thing I liked was the water was so pretty. Now, we had an issue with our room and I thought we were going to have to leave but the staff took care of the situation. We had a two bedroom two bath, it was nice to have the extra room. The couches weren't very comfortable but we weren't in the room much. If you want to go to Phillipsburg, just stand on sidewalk and look for a van with a sign in the window that reads Phillipsburg on it. This cost 1.50 for one person one way. Was very convenient. This hotel is not a 5 or 6 star like the Ritz but it was very nice and convenient for a vacation to a distant island!

"Request the Lighthouse"
We loved the Oyster Bay Resort, but I think that was because we had the most beautiful room in the Lighthouse. The staff was not very friendly upon check-in, so we were nervous. Once we got to our room (a 3 bedroom condo) everything changed. It was beautiful, had everything we needed, and we could not have been happier. The Lighthouse has its own fitness center, pool and hot tub, very nice! Housekeeping kept things spotless. The activities desk was helpful but actually didn't always give us the best answers we found, and the front desk was never staffed with anyone who seemed interested in being in a good mood. We will come back for sure though!

"great hotel"
I hardly ever write reviews but I enjoyed this hotel tremendously. It sits on an amazing beach where I spent a few hours a day. The twin sisters that work the hotel were very helpful in making plans and phone calls for me (both adorable too). I stayed in the smaller studio room in the lower level but it was bigger and nicer than I expected with a king size bed. It had a little kitchenette which i had planned on using but ended up just ordering food on the beach. I really have no complaints. I had a great vacation. I have mixed reviews about the island itself but the hotel stood out as the best part of my trip. The one day a bunch of women from the local gentlemen's club came to the hotel and hung out on the beach was just icing on the cake. The hotel is pretty centrally located but not walking distance to most things. Car rentals are pretty cheap ($25 per day) but I chose to pay a little extra for a moped ($40 per day). Who wants to ride around the caribbean in a car. I can't remember the name of the moped place but it was right over the simpson bay bridge across the street from Toppers, a pretty popular bar/restaurant. They will give you the price for a 24 hour rental but if you want it longer you can negotiate. Being next door to the airport is not nearly as noisy at you would think. Plus the last flight of the night is 9 or 10pm so it was never really an issue.

"Beautiful 5 star POSH resort"
I can't say enough about this hotel. We loved every moment we were there. 24 hour room service, very clean and trendy. Food was great, service was great. Everyone was nice Rooms were comfortable and big Nothing even close to bad to say about this resort. Very well put together. The only thing that I would say about the hotel that was a bummer was that one of the pools was closed the whole week we were there. But honestly, the pool on the cliff is the only place we would have been going even if that other pool was open the whole week. So we honestly didn't care that it was closed. Everything needs to be repaired at some point. It worked out well

Nice hotel that is located right on the beach. The concierge was not very helpful, and appeared to be more interested in selling me a timeshare then helping me navigate St. Marteen. The hotel has 2 main restaurants and a deli. Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel.

"Nice hotel close to the beach shopping, dining"
I loved my stay at Bakers I only stayed April 22 to 27th but wished I could have stayed longer. This hotel is in the middle of everything. Beach right across the street. Also the free breakfast was a plus which is why I decided to stay here and I'm glad I did. Next time I visit SXM I will be staying here!

"Nice hotel with nice beach "
Buffet dinner was not very good but restaurants were all good for dinner. Make reservations as soon as you arrive. Breakfast was good and lunch at the Palms Grill was excellent. Only choice of beer was Bud Light and Heineken but there was plenty of other things to drink. It was nice to be near Maho village and the casino, although it was very quiet the week we were there. It was great being able to go to the other Sonesta near Phillipsburg. Great pool and the dinner buffet was delicious there. If you don't think you are going to leave the resort then it is worth the extra money to stay there. Maho beach worked better for us because we wanted to be able to leave the resort and explore other places on the island. The rooms were recently renovated and very clean and comfortable. Staff at front desk were great and very helpful. Most of the staff were friendly.

Beacon Hill is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Beacon Hill, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Beacon Hill hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
