They charge me far above the arange price with. Expedia. They didn-t even double check with Expedia. I dont recommend anyone to book Dann Carlton Barranquilla trough a travel agent. They can rip you off.

Overall, my stay at the Dann Carlton was very good. The service and kindness of everyone who helped make my stay more comfortable were excellent. The only thing I would say is that for the hotel to have 5 stars under its name, I think it's still lacking. Not even a bottle of water was included in the room during my stay, which was from May 6th to May 21st, nor was there a welcome cocktail or anything like that. I also thought the breakfast was good enough for a buffet, but it would be nice to have new things sometimes. I really like this hotel because of its proximity to the shopping center and many other places like restaurants. Thanks 😊

Nice hotel

Great stay! The hotel offers excellent amenities including a pool, gym, sauna, and Turkish bath — perfect for relaxing. The top-floor restaurant has amazing views, especially at sunset. Plus, it’s right across from a mall, making shopping super convenient. Clean, comfortable, and well-located — highly recommend!

My experience was significantly affected by a frustrating issue at check-in. Despite entering Colombia as a tourist with proper documentation, I was incorrectly charged the tax due to staff misinterpreting my valid immigration stamp. To resolve the issue, I had to make a trip back to the airport, where immigration confirmed the stamp was valid and clearly marked. The inconvenience cost me additional time and money, and I was disappointed by the dismissive attitude of the staff — particularly an employee who suggested there was a possibility I was lying to avoid paying the tax. While I eventually received the refund, the experience left a negative impression. I hope the hotel improves staff training and guest support so that future travelers don’t face similar problems.
