I have to say the building was spotless! The staff were very helpful. They phoned to get taxis and helped us where we wanted to go. The breakfast was good with a variety of food and drinks. When we were leaving they helped us find a place for our luggage so we didn't have to drag our bags around before we left. I can only praise them for being excellent!

Most gorgeous hotel with wonderful staff and I think the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back. First class.

Located at the heart of the town center, steps from the superb grocery store and restaurants. Very helpful staff. Small room with two very comfortable individual sofa/chair.

Clean room and spacious bathroom. Lovely heated footing in the bathroom! Bed very comfortable and great blackout blinds. Nowhere to unpack / put clothes and bags and this was the only downside to the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet plentiful, varied and fresh.

Bad location and staffs were very cold and distance. Anything you asked the answer is no.

This is a classic and funky place in Longyearbyen and probably worth considering for that reason alone. The staff were very helpful and the food was wonderful. The main downside was the incredible expense particularly for a tiny room w a shared bathroom/ toilet. The town is expensive generally given its remote location but it is hard to justify charging as much as they do nonetheless.
