I don’t understand the praise - this is a motel-full stop.

It was really nice and super clean. We are family of 3 and visited Maine for 4 days and ir was super convenient. Everything was clean and nice and we relly enjoyed our stay.

Nice clean place, but one of the rooms was not how it was pictured. Instead of a queen, it had bunk beds. Water pressure was great upstairs but low downstairs in the bathroom. Also, ice maker didn't work. Great location

My family and I recently stayed at Days Inn Bar Harbor, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Bar Harbor is one of my favorite places, and I’ve been visiting since 2012. This was my family’s first trip there, and I wanted everything to be special. Sadly, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in Bar Harbor. I booked our stay over a month in advance and included two requests with my reservation: a ground-floor room (since we were traveling with a 1-year-old and a 7-year-old) and a Pack ’n Play or crib if available. About a week before arrival, I called the hotel to confirm everything. The receptionist assured me that my requests had been noted and that there was nothing else I needed to do before arriving. Our first surprise came at check-in. The front desk attendant—a kind Jamaican lady—was incredibly welcoming and made check-in quick and pleasant. When she handed us our keys, however, we learned that our room was on the top floor at the very end of the building. I mentioned my previous call, and although she couldn’t change the room, she did her best to reassure us by saying we’d have a beautiful harbor view. Her kindness genuinely helped ease my disappointment. Getting our luggage upstairs was a struggle, and things only got worse when we reached the room. The door lock was extremely difficult to open—the key card worked, but the door itself seemed jammed and required a lot of force every time we entered. The room initially looked clean, but upon c

Beautiful view! Our room was clean, but a lot of stairs for my mother to walk up with a suitcase. We didn't have any coffee or tea in our room and needed to ask for that. We also didn't have any complementary water. You have to bring everything you need. They had a hot water tea kettle in our room - that's it. The restaurant is very expensive! They also ran out of the beer we like to drink after we had 1 each? We made coffee at the free coffee station one morning and the milk was sour and we had to wait for new milk. For the money we felt like they should do a little more for their customers. The gift shop has no food or water sold in it. It was very beautiful, but just a little lacking in some ways.

Staff was wonderful plus some ! Cabin a bit musty but opened windows & everything was great. Cabin was very clean & bed was comfortable !!! Loved the girl that checked us in - Little confusion on my part & she couldn’t have been sweeter ❤️ AND… they just put in a pool !
