.I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding my recent stay. I want to urge you to double-check your booking system, as the experience my family and I had was unacceptable. I booked a one-bedroom King suite with a living room pull-out couch and two TVs. However, upon arrival, we were given a standard room with just a single king bed. I explained the discrepancy to the front desk staff multiple times and showed them my receipt, but they refused to accommodate us, claiming they had no knowledge of the reservation and telling us to take it up with Expedia. This is despite the fact that we had called ahead prior to our arrival to confirm our room type. It took two hours of back-and-forth, and it was only after my son, and daughter all came down to the desk that the staff finally honored our original booking. This situation could and should have been resolved immediately. Instead, it was a ridiculous waste of our precious time. Clean and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, towels and linen. Outside areas were clean and well cared for. This was our 4th time staying at peppertree and I haven't been disappointed either time. I love the ocean view from the condo and I love the fact that it's right on the beach. It's also very convenient to everything. The patios are a little small and the upstairs air conditioner was dripping down on ours but not a big deal. We just love Pepper Tree by the Sea. Hope to stay there again many times in the future.

I really hate to write this review because I stayed here several times before and had quite a different experience. Stayed in room 4430b, a 2 bedroom villa where we didn’t sit on the couch because it smelled like urine. I alerted the front desk and was told they would have someone steam the couch but no accommodations were made for our stay. The carpet also needs to be cleaned. I had to ho to CVS for a cortisone cream due to a rash that appeared on my leg. I would also recommend dish detergent be provided for the sink instead of running the dishwasher for 3 plates. Aside from that, the beach shuttle and private access was the highlight of our stay. The pool was nice and well kept and the rest of the facilities were clean and cared for. Last recommendation - the valet carts were strictly being used by the valet service. A family in front of me ended up carrying all their bags and had to make several trips from the entrance. Honestly if they address valet, steam the couch and carpet, and have the front desk proactively take measures for customer satisfaction, this would be 5 stars.

We had a great stay with an easy check-in. It was very clean. We will stay there again when we are in the area.
