Stayed at Canad Inn for concert as we have numerous times. As always, staff were friendly and welcoming, common areas and room was clean, and casino entertaining. Disappointed complimentary bottles of water are no longer offered, and no obvious refill spot.

Room was clean There weren’t enough towels in the pool and it didn’t seem very clean.

No drinking cups in the room. Had to keep asking for them. Air conditioner blows into the window curtains. Have to keep the curtains open to cool the room. These things are minor. Would stay at this hotel again. It is located in a good area with lots of restaurants and stores very close.

We were not informed when booking that the hotel was also being used as a shelter to accommodate people evacuated due to the wildfires. While we understand and support helping people in need, we feel guests should be made aware of this beforehand. The hotel did not feel safe during our stay. There were always large groups outside smoking and being loud and frequent disturbances in the hallways. One night we woke up to banging on our door several times, which was scary. We also saw people walking around the hotel barefoot and even someone eating ice directly from the ice machine, which made the hotel feel poorly supervised. Our concern isn’t that the hotel was helping evacuees, but that there didn’t seem to be enough security or management to maintain a comfortable and secure environment for guests. Had we known the situation in advance, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere.

Excellent! Great with kids, clean, tidy and lots of fun for the kids. The slushies in the afternoon were perfect.

Arrived late at night and had to leave very early but definitely would stay here again
