The rooms were really good - I love the design. The church bells can be a little loud if you like to sleep with open windows. I didn’t mind it; after an active day in the mountains, I sleep like a rock. The breakfast was so so; we must be spoiled from other hotels before. Location is perfect to start your day trips and the staff was happy to help with that as well. We were able to walk to a little spot just 5min away to take a swim in the lake as well - very convenient.

It looks like a retrofit hotel with poor floor plans and outdated design.

Rooms are about 85 degrees and the parking situation is a nightmare. The breakfast is a joke. The views are great but plenty of other hotels in the area have the same view.

The themed rooms were quite different but enduring.

The room was very clean. The space was adequate despite being small. Self check in and internet were very easy to access and use. The hotel is close to the train station and most of the sites we wanted to visit. We had a lovely visit in Lucerne. AND the air conditioning in the room was great!

I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Great location right across the train station and short 2 min walk to the cable car. Would stay here again if ever in Wengen.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the Mountains of Wengen. Beautiful town, easy to travel between other towns as train station was a 5 minute walk. Stunning! No AC at this hotel, but it was fine. Restaurant was delicious. Staff was fantastic.
