The hotel is very well located, close to the Vatican, there are many restaurants around and easy transport links. We were five travellers divided in 2 rooms, in one of the rooms three of the bed supports were missing and the only plug was broken, the polite and friendly staff gave us a new room the next. On the second room, there was not shampoo. The hotel seems to be undergoing a refurbishment by sectios, toilets, breakfast hall and waiting area seems new.

Great location - very central and most tourist attractions are walkable in 30 mins. Location has lots of high end shops (like being in the Knightsbridge in London). Staff very helpful and friendly. Only real negative was breakfast was adequate, would only have it if incl. in room rate. Would do with better sound proofing on windows

We had a perfect stay at the Smart Guesthouse in Rome. The host was very accommodating with allowing us to store our luggage and letting us know as soon as the room was ready as we were exhausted from overnight travel. The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. It was also perfectly clean! The location was also wonderful for us as we could walk to the train station and we were able to visit everywhere we wanted to go either by a nice walk or a quick jump on the metro. It was perfect!
