About 20 years ago this hotel was a Marriott and it was simply OK As the grand Hyatt, it is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are beautiful. The heating and air conditioning were perfectly. As is the case in most hotels room service is overpriced, but I rarely ate in the room. The lobby is exceptional. The staff are friendly and kind especially those who are Greek. This is a hotel that is in a transitional area of Greece-- 20 years ago was probably less habitable and only the intercontinental was here but now the modern museum is here. The Onassis center is here. There are numerous places to eat if you don't want to be in the center of all the chaos near Monsteraki Square I highly recommend this hotel as a New Yorker. The walk to the Acropolis, which is about 20 minutes seem like northing. For others Perhaps it might be a hike. The nearest metro is Syngrou Fux and it's about an eight when I walk for me about a 15 minute walk for most.

The restaurants had excellent options. The best member of your staff was Konstantino. He was often the person who brought our room service to us, but he was much more. He gave us great tips on where to visit, best transportation and local attractions. He was an absolute joy to speak with every night. Thank you for having such a wonderful team member. He is an exemplary team member. He deserves praise and a raise. We definitely plan to return to Greece next year and we will choose to return to this wonderful hotel. Your staff was professional and nice.

I tried to get a hold of Expedia. I booked a KING room and was given a queen bed. They told me at the hotel that’s what you booked and would NOT change a thing.

What a beautiful hotel and staff. Beautiful lobby and room with jump pool. Delicious huge breakfast selection included in your stay with a rooftop view while you enjoy your meal. Rooftop infinity pools one for adults and family’s, poolside bar, I could go on and on, a great stay in Athens/Athens. Easy to get to places, taxis always available in center city and the hotel is a few feet from public transportation if that’s something you’d like. Flavour is a delicious restaurant near by.

Overall stay at the hotel was llvely, checking in desk staff were very helpful, however the doorman i found to be very unprofessional, unhelpful... he focused on anyone he thought he could get a tip from or earn extra cash from... mainly from men, which left myself a single female to communicate and navigate with the taxi drivers alone. With lobby staff recommending or referring me to the doorman made me very uncomfortable

Wow my favorite hotel chain officially !! I went on a solo trip from ny to Greece & the grand Hyatt felt like a dream ❤️, I felt so comfortable the bed was amazing & so were the soft marshmallow like pillows felt like I was sleeping in heaven, there are 3 pools in the hotel like amazing plus a long pool in the spa area so many options to take pictures & swim. The breakfast was also amazing it was buffet which kept my stomach happy only thing I would give it a thumbs down is DINNER ! Please have more options that are favorable. The hotel was super clean & luxurious & huge which I also loved.
