The place was in shambles. Looked like the entire place was being remodeled and still renting rooms. Carpet shards, soda bottles, garbage, beds, etc littered the hallways on the way to my room. The hallways also smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was fine once I got there, but was hesitant to sleep in the bed having seen the condition of the rest of the hotel. Front desk staff was helpful and breakfast was good. A massive remodel is fine and probably needed, but I would suggest keeping the mess in areas that are not customer facing (in the rooms or areas that are being remodeled) not in the hallways that are accessible to paying customers.

Breakfast was in a small room and was over crowded. The food that was offered was running out and when it was replenished the guests that had been waiting pounced on it. The food was lackluster also. We ended up running to a fast food restaurant to get something. Room was clean but the lights in bathroom were not very bright which was odd. When we drove up to hotel it was getting dark but the outside lights were not on. When we went in to check in the staff was dealing with a blown breaker. Once that was fixed they realized the lights were not on so they quickly turned them on. The guys working the front desk were very friendly and apologized for the delays.
