Very disappointing experience. When I entered the room, the bed sheets weren’t even properly put on the bed, and the pillows were scattered around the room. The bathtub was also clogged, and the water wouldn’t drain at all. The overall condition of the room was terrible and clearly not well maintained. A hotel room should at least be clean, organized, and fully functional when a guest checks in. Very disappointing and definitely not what I expected.

It was a great place to stay

Wildwood Lodge was a nice surprise. The lobby was airy, quirky, and welcoming, with coffee and tea available. The room was large, the pool pleasant, and breakfast unusually good. The room was large and clean, but it felt strangely damp. There wasn't a closet in our two queen room, just a small rack. It seemed that irons were available at the front desk, rather than in-room. Staff was very friendly. Some of the pillows were lumpy, but there were enough that my husband and I could find good ones. Apparently there was a loud party at the hotel the night we were there, but it was broken up (maybe by the staff) by the time we got in around 10:30, so the night was quiet.

This LaQuinta has amazing staff but the hotel itself needs a lot of work. Upon entry, you're hit with a horrible musty scent. It's like the first floor flooded and the carpets weren't cleaned. It was awful. The room was ok but there was mold under the caulk around the inside and outside of the shower. The refrigerator had residue from previous use. There was a spider in the corner. The towels were worn thin. Walls were scratched. The closest door wouldn't close. We didn't use the coffee machine because it was gross. This was our first and last stay at a La Quinta.

Came to town for a Brewers game. The location, the room, the staff were amazing and we had an awesome experience. Will remember this place for next time
