At first my family and I really liked the hotel, it looked clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff, parking right on the back, close restaurants. But unfortunately the last day of our stay when we woke up we found bed bugs, that was so disgusting and very unpleasant, honestly I wasn’t expecting to see anything like this. We have traveled to over 15 countries around the world and this is our first time that we encountered bed bugs.

Nice quaint little hotel, but could never get the wifi to work typical of Guatemala I suppose, not complaining too loud that's a 1st world problem. The tub wasn't as advertised, also probably a first world problem. Was no way a person could sit down and bathe in that tub and it had residue in it every morning from? OK for a shower however.

Pure condition of the room we got. There was no glass in the upper part of windows, it was too cold to sleep like that at night. The bathroom has absolutely no ventilation and there’s not a single hanger in the bathroom. The hangers - any kind in the bathroom is a must!

Does the job for a few nights

It’s fine but bring earplugs just in case. On the first night, we heard some animals fighting and it sounded like they were being slaughtered. Happened multiples times that night. Turns out it was stray cats fighting on the roof. Go to the restaurant across the street for authentic Guatemalan breakfasts before starting the day! Super affordable and delicious.
