"Nice hotel close to Mandalay Hill"
The best thing about this hotel is the pool and the garden leading to the Spa, great to chill out after visiting lots of temples.

"average hotel with exceptional staff"
The hotel is average but the staff were fabulous. We generally stay in nicer hotels, but the friendliness of the staff made up for average appearance of the hotel. They really helped us with bookings and made our stay better because of extremely friendly way of helping

"Comfortable stay with great service"
Magic Mandalay is a newer hotel in Mandalay. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day and the rooftop pool with bar service is a great way to relax and pass the time. The staff here was very friendly and made sure to accommodate all our needs, including checking in a day early and switching rooms after the first day. They even have a fitness room and spa available in house. The only point of complaint is that we needed laundry done during our stay. When we inquired about this service, we were told to just give our clothes to housekeeping. The rates were not made known to us. When we received our clothes back, we were charged $53 USD, which is not much for US standards, but was very expensive by Myanmar standards. In fact, the laundry service cost more than our spa services combined.

"Excellent Staff, Good Facilities"
The good: - Staff were exceptional. Couldn't be more helpful. - Rooms were comfortable and clean and beds were also comfortable - location good, very convenient - breakfast delicious and varied - restaurant was great. Good food, amazing view, free cocktail, nightly traditional puppet show - Sightseeing tour. Seemed expensive by South East Asian standards ($USD30) but I shopped around and this was comparatively cheap. Covered a private car, driver/guide and around 8 different sights. The bad: - opened the curtains in my room to find scaffolding and a construction worker drilling directly outside my 5th floor window. Couldn't open curtains at all during the stay and a daytime nap would have been out of the question. Hoping this is temporary (June 2017) - Wifi was spotty and dropped out regularly. Also wifi required a voucher code to log in, and a different code for each device. Painful and not explained at check-in.

"Holiday in Mandalay"
The first night we encountered 2 blackouts!! But there's torchlight on standby in the hotel so we had expected such to happen... do bring the torchlight into the bathroom and switch it on throughout as you wouldn't want to be caught in an emergency blackout in pitch darkness!

Anesakhan is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Anesakhan, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Anesakhan hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
